Resolved Question: Im a gay guy, native to USA, interested in Hinduism. Looking for a sect that accepts gays. ISKCON does not.?

I have participated in religious study and practice with International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). But, I have found out that they are a fundamentalist sect. They reject gay people. They have strict rules that I do not accept. I am sure that there are Hindu sects that accept gay people and that are more liberal in accepting normal human nature and pleasures. I live in Washington, DC area. If you can advise me, I would appreciate it. I am interested in Sanatan dharma. It teaches the love of being a servant. I have many Indian, Nepali, and Sri Lankan friends who are not gay. They have not dealt with this issue. Peace be with you. Thank you for your help. Keep in mind that I am not new to Hinduism, Sanatan dharma, Buddhism. I simply find it hard to find a sect that embraces gay people.
